Ladies like three love, champions lose, too

At the European Team Championships the first matches ended with results 3:0 and it is hard to talk about being surprised who won. There were also shocking wins and losses. All in all emotions ran high.

Ladies from the Second Division started the Tournament: the Spanish beat the Hungarians 3:0, The Czech beat the Austrians 3:0, and another surprise took place in the match between the Swiss and the Poles – the first match went smoothly for Magda Kamińska 3:0. Despite a great start to the rivalry the Poles finally lost 1:2.

All the matches in the Women Second Division ended 3:0 (Denmark bt Ireland, Wales bt Belgium, France bt Holland and England bt Germany).
